Originating in Falmouth, Cornwall, SURF BALM is a sustainable, ocean-friendly lip balm. Designed for surfers and built for Cornish weather.
My student days in Falmouth were filled with pre-lecture surfs and post-lecture beach BBQs. I quickly fell in love with the Cornish coastline but after seeing the high tide mark littered with plastic, I made it my mission to protect the ocean, one lip balm at a time!
So, I decided to launch a lip balm brand that incorporates Sustainability, Surfing and the Cornish lifestyle.
With sun in the summer, wind in the winter and salty sea air all year round, Cornish weather can be unforgiving on our lips. With it’s moisturising and regenerative elements, a SURF BALM in your pocket gives you the freedom to enjoy your Cornish adventure in style.
Each tin is lovingly handmade in Cornwall to be as ocean-friendly as possible. 100% of our ingredients are natural with no petroleum and no artificial flavour. Our tin is recyclable and waterproof to suit your outdoor lifestyle.

Falifornia is where my story begins...
Aged 20, I turned south and set off towards the Cornish coast. At university in Falmouth, I kept hearing this strange word thrown around and soon realised it was the nickname students gave to our beautiful Cornish campus. It's as close as the UK is going to get to the California dream - there's just a lot more rain.
Nevertheless, with surfing before lectures in the morning and beach BBQs in the evening, Falifornia was more than just a nickname, it was a lifestyle we were lucky enough to live as students on the coast.
Like many of you reading this, I fell in love with this lifestyle and in my second year, I bought the Falifornia trade mark and set out on a journey to turn this name into a brand.
